Recorded by various authors (e.g. F.J.H. von Mueller, Victoria - Parliamentary Papers- Votes and Proceedings of the Legislative Assembly 17 (1854), T.J.Entwisle in N.G.Walsh & T.J.Entwisle, Fl. Vic. 2: 99 (1994)), but Australian taxa in this genus are currently referred to Diplazium.
