- A.D.Chapman, Austral. Pl. Name Index 532 (1991) lists the name "Calectasia grandiflora Sond., nom. illeg.", however this is here considered a secondary reference and not an attempt by Sonder to publish a new name. The name “Calectasia grandiflora L.Preiss subsp. grandiflora” is listed by C.M.Parker & J.M.Percy-Bower, Nuytsia 27: 10 (2016), but this autonym does not exist, in accordance with ICN Art. 27.2 (Melbourne Code, 2012).
