- A.D.Chapman, Austral. Pl. Name Index 2975 (1991) lists the name “Vittadinia spathulata (Gaudich.) DC.”, however A.P. de Candolle, Prodr. 5: 306 (1836) does not make the combination, citing Brachyscome spathulata Gaudich. as a doubtful synonym of Vittadinia australis A.Rich. Infraspecific rank not recognised in NSW.
