A reputed hybrid E. dives x E. radiata is the basis for E. dixsonii F.W.Wakef. (Pryor & Johnson, 1971; Chippendale, 1988). Hybrids are known between E. radiata subsp. radiata and E. dives (Johnson & Hill, 1990).
