remarks: "I have not been able to track down the type of this name. The only mention of the name is in Burges (Proc. Linn. Soc. New South Wales 60: 83–93, 1935), who wrote that W.W.Watts in his manuscript notes considered A. trichocladium to be a doubtful species, perhaps belonging to Wijkia extenuata (Brid.) H.A.Crum [as Acanthocladium extenuatum (Brid.) Mitt.]"
