APC Comment: This name appears to be an unintentional orthographic variant of Calorophus densus Nees & Lehm. B.D.Jackson, Index Kew. 1: 392 (1893), refers to J.G.C.Lehmann, Pl. Preiss. 2: 67 (1848), where Calorophus densus is published but the name "Calorophus dentatus" does not appear there.
