  • Type: "Dieses hübsche, Pittosporum, das aus Neuholland stammt und sehr wahrscheinlich zu den zahlreichen, von unserem hochgeehrten Freunde, Herr Dr. Müller in Melbourne, in Europa eingeführten Pflanzen gehört,"
  • Etymology: "Da der thätige und tüchtige Obergärtner am hiesigen Botanischen Garten, Herr Ender, dieses Pittosporum in einem andern Garten in Blüthe fand und mir solches zur Bestimmung übergab , so widme ich demselben diese Art."
  • Comment: Also published by Regel in Ind. Sem. Hort. Petrop. for 1868 (after Mar. 1869) 90 with the citation "Nova Hollandia." – seen at K.
