Australian Plant Name Index (APNI)
The Australian Plant Name Index (APNI) is a tool for the botanical community that deals with plant names and their usage in the scientific literature, whether as a current name or synonym. APNI does not recommend any particular taxonomy or nomenclature. For a listing of currently accepted scientific names for the Australian vascular flora, please use the Australian Plant Census (APC) link above.

Comment:Mueller lists "Cyperus diphyllus = C. corynbosus ...". Since Cyperus diphyllus was previously accepted by Mueller on p. 125 of the Systematic Census (1882), Cyperus corymbosus F.Muell. is here treated as being a newly-accepted name in this Supplement.
Text:"The reference to S. corymbosus L. by Rottboell (1772) was tentative, as indicated by the question mark, and a year later he (Rottboell 1773) definitely excluded the synonymy. Thus the name Cyperus corymbosus is solely to be assigned to Rottboell."
