APC Comment: A northern hemisphere taxon, recorded in an Australian context only as the parent of Swertia parnassifolia Labill. Swertia parnassifolia is now treated as Ornduffia parnassifolia (Labill.) Tippery & Les (Menyanthaceae) in Australia.
