The Australian Plant Name Index (APNI) is a tool for the botanical community that deals with plant names and their usage in the scientific literature, whether as a current name or synonym. APNI does not recommend any particular taxonomy or nomenclature. Comment: Stafleu & Cowan, Tax. Lit. ed. 2, 1 (1976) 51 give the author as "probably ... A.Haworth" but there is no such indication in the work itself, so Andrews has been accepted as the author here.
