APC Comment: A name of uncertain application. Listed (as a fossil plant) by A.D.Chapman, Austral. Pl. Name Index 2370 (1991), however, K.Suessenguth in H.G.A.Engler & K.A.Prantl, Nat. Pflanzenfam. 21d: 112 (1953), states: "P. commutata Hort. Schoenbrunn ex Ettingshausen...Nur Blattnervatur bekannt, fraglich ob zu Pomaderris gehorig... i.e. a living plant from the Botanic Gardens in Vienna (Schoenbrunn), with only an image of the leaf nervature known (J.Kellerman, pers. comm. 2010).
