Type: "Short 838, c. 5.8 km west of Nectar Brook Station along road to Chinamans Creek (34°42′S, 137°54′E [sic; latitude given appears to be in error, corrected on CANB isotype to 32°42′]). Associated with Arthrocnemum [ = Halosarcia], Atriplex, Aizoon. Salty grey-white clay. Very common. 9.xii.1978 (AD). ISOTYPUS: CANB, K, MEL, PERTH."
