The Australian Plant Name Index (APNI) is a tool for the botanical community that deals with plant names and their usage in the scientific literature, whether as a current name or synonym. APNI does not recommend any particular taxonomy or nomenclature. For a listing of currently accepted scientific names for the Australian vascular flora, please use the Australian Plant Census (APC) link above.

Type: "Burke's River."

Type: "Burke R., Qld, collector unknown; n.v."

Comment: Mueller's citation of the type locality as "Burke's River" was interpreted by S.T.Reynolds in A.S.George (ed.), Fl. Australia 25: 114 (1985), as Burke River, Queensland. However, since the J.M.Stuart expeditions in 1860–1862 did not cover this area, this appears to be an error, possibly for Burke Creek in the Northern Territory (A.E.Orchard, pers. comm. 2005).

APC Comment: A name of uncertain application.
