APC Comment: A widespread taxon, recorded by F.M.Bailey, Bot. Bull. Dept Agric. Queensl. 17: 10 (1913) (as Aspidium volubile) and K.Domin, Biblio. Bot. 20(85): 66 (1914) (as the parent of Nephrolepis radicans var. cavernicola), but not known to occur in Australia.
