Text: "The brief description could apply to a variegated variant of either C. fruticosa, which was widely cultivated in south-eastern Qld at the time, or C. rubra which occurs naturally close Pimpama, Qld, where the plant was reported to be found 'a few years ago by Mr W.T.Bailey'.
