The Australian Plant Name Index (APNI) is a tool for the botanical community that deals with plant names and their usage in the scientific literature, whether as a current name or synonym. APNI does not recommend any particular taxonomy or nomenclature. For a listing of currently accepted scientific names for the Australian vascular flora, please use the Australian Plant Census (APC) link above.

Comment: "The type of this species has apparently been destroyed in Berlin during the Second World War and I have been unable to locate any material that may be considered as isotype. The description and discussion in Burret's protologue for this species is lengthy but it has not been possible to say to which known species it is referable."

APC Comment: A name of uncertain application (see D.A.Halford, Austrobaileya 6(4): 625 (2004)).
