  • Type: "Linga Jattie, Java, s. dat., C.L.Blume 649 (first step lecto: L, designated by P. D. Bostock in P. M. McCarthy (ed.), Fl. Australia 48: 257 (1998); second-step lecto [single sheet], designated here: L 0050898*; isolecto: L 0050899*)."
  • Text: "Bostock (in Bostock et al. 1998, p. 203) cited the type of the name Adiantum diaphanum as ‘Linga Jattie, Java, [Indonesia], C.L. Blume 649; holo: L’. This is here treated as effective (first-step) lectotypification by Bostock, in accordance with ICN Art. 7.11 (Turland et al. 2018). Because Bostock’s citation meets the relevant requirements of ICN Art. 7.11, his use of the term ‘holo’ is correctable under ICN Art. 9.10. Because there are two sheets labelled Blume 649 preserved in L, the specimen labelled ‘Linga Jattie’ is here selected as the (second-step) lectotype."
