Text: “This plant from flowering specimens only was first placed in the genus Berchemia ; but from the fruit, now obtained, it is proved to be a genuine Ventilago.”
Comment: Reference to basionym indirect, via Mueller's indication that the plant had previously been described as a member of the genus Berchemia, although without citation of the basionym or its place of publication.
