APC Comment:A.D.Chapman, Austral. Pl. Name Index 2249 (1991) stated that Poiret did not validly make the combination Phusicarpos longifolius. However, under Article 33.1 of the 2006 (Vienna) edition of the ICBN, this name is considered to be validly published.
