The Australian Plant Name Index (APNI) is a tool for the botanical community that deals with plant names and their usage in the scientific literature, whether as a current name or synonym. APNI does not recommend any particular taxonomy or nomenclature. Lectotype:here designated: [Tasmania] Ad rupes saxosas flubii Cataract R., in Porta Dalrymple [near Georgetown], R. Brown, 10 Jan 1804 (BM, marked 'A' on sheet, photo NSW). Probably isolectotypes: MEL 21612, 21613 and NSW 6234, which are in similar fruiting condition but lack locality notes.
