Comment: Mueller lists "Potamogeton plantagineus = P. coloratus, ...". Potamogeton plantagineus Roem & Schult. was previously accepted by Mueller on p. 3 of the Systematic Census Suppl. 1 (1884) but Potamogeton coloratus Hornem. is the only species treated in Mueller's Second Systematic Census on p. 204 (1889). Therefore Potamogeton coloratus is here treated as being the accepted name in this Supplement with P. plantagineus in synonymy.
