APC Comment: Treated as a synonym of E. argillacea by Chippendale (1988) but now recognised as distinct. Hybrids are recorded between E. pruinosa subsp. pruinosa and 'E. tropica' (=E. leucophylla) (Hill & Johnson, 2000). Hybrids are recorded in Qld between E. leucophylla and E. pruinosa (Henderson, 2002). -
