  • Comment: Heynhold attributes this name to "Rchb.". H.G.L.Reichenbach, Consp. Regn. Veg. 175 (1828), indicated that several species of Metrosideros, including M. capitata Sm., comprised a separate genus Kunzea, but did not definitely associate the new genus name and species epithets as required by ICN Art. 35.2 (Shenzhen Code, 2018).
