  • APC Comment: Hybrids are known between A. crassicarpa and Acacia aulacocarpa (M.W.McDonald & B.R.Maslin, Austral. Syst. Bot. 13: 34 (2000)). Putative hybrids between A. crassicarpa and A. midgleyi have been reported (M.W.McDonald & B.R.Maslin, Austral. Syst. Bot. 13: 34 (2000)). Acacia crassicarpa is also reported to hybridise with the PNG species A. peregrina (McDonald & Maslin).
