  • APC Comment: A.D.Chapman, Austral. Pl. Name Index 22 (1991) cites "Acacia biflora Paxton" as an illegitimate name, but this is a secondary reference and not an attempt by Paxton to publish a new name. A.D.Chapman, op. cit. 2010 (1991) stated that Poiret did not validly make the combination Mimosa biflora. However, under Article 33.1 of the 2006 (Vienna) edition of the ICBN, this name is considered to be validly published.
