APC Comment: A northern hemisphere taxon recorded in an Australian context only as the parent of Echinospermum concava F.Muell. and E. lappula (Baumg.) Lehm. Echinospermum concava is now treated as Omphalolappula concava (F.Muell.) Brand, and E. lappula is now referred to Lappula myosotis V.Wolf, an Asian taxon not known to occur in Australia.
