APC Comment: A Solomon Islands taxon, placed in synonymy of Boea commersonii R.Br., nom. illeg. by J.J.Bennett et al., Pl. Jav. Rar. 2: 120 (1840). Boea commersonii was erroneously recorded for Australia by C.B.Clarke in A. & C. de Candolle, Monogr. Phan. 5: 145 (1883).
