  • Etymology: "Named after Margaret Jean Egan (1941-), keen orchid enthusiast, botanical artist and volunteer at the Australian National Herbarium. Jean also has great expertise in photoshop and has been of major assistance with my orchid research over the years providing accommodation and expertly cleaning and digitising my drawings for publication."
