The Australian Plant Name Index (APNI) is a tool for the botanical community that deals with plant names and their usage in the scientific literature, whether as a current name or synonym. APNI does not recommend any particular taxonomy or nomenclature. For a listing of currently accepted scientific names for the Australian vascular flora, please use the Australian Plant Census (APC) link above.

Type: "VICTORIA. c. 2 km NW of Bulldog Junction towards Ben Cruachan, G. Sutter s.n., 9. xi. 2010 (holo: MEL 2418185l iso: CANB, NSW)."
-
Etymology: "The epithet is derived from the Latin dispar 'different', and alludes to it being morphologically and environmentally separable from the type subspecies of E. conspicua."
-
APC Dist.: Vic
-
Text: "It has been pointed out to us that the latin adjective ‘dispar’ (different) does not alter form with gender of the noun. Therefore, the correct epithet for the new subspecies should be: Eucalyptus conspicua subsp. dispar Rule & N.G.Walsh. Eucalyptus conspicua subsp. dispara is an orthographic error to be corrected in accordance with Article 60.1 of the International Code of Nomenclature for algae, fungi, and plants (McNeill et al. 2012)."
