Orchidaceae Juss.
Prasophyllum exiguum M.A.Clem. , nom. inval., nom. nud. scientific apni Clements, M.A. in Jones, D.L. (ed.) (August 1989), Catalogue of Australian Orchidaceae. Australian Orchid Research 1: 112 [primary reference]
  • Comment: Clements cites "P. exiguum Rupp, Victorian Naturalist 65: 142 (1948)" but the designation was not validly published by Rupp in that work. Clements does not provide the information necessary to publish the name of a new taxon under ICN Art. 39.1 (Shenzhen Code, 2018), as no description or diagnosis is given. While Clements refers to a previously published description of this taxon by Fitzgerald under the name Prasophyllum rufum R.Br. this does not meet the requirements, as Fitzgerald's description of P. rufum is given only in English.
