The Australian Plant Name Index (APNI) is a tool for the botanical community that deals with plant names and their usage in the scientific literature, whether as a current name or synonym. APNI does not recommend any particular taxonomy or nomenclature. For a listing of currently accepted scientific names for the Australian vascular flora, please use the Australian Plant Census (APC) link above.

Text: "Two errors occurred in our recent paper – Jones, D.L. & Clements, M.A., Miscellaneous nomenclatural notes and changes in Australian, New Guinea and New Zealand Orchidaceae, Orchadian 1591): 33–42 (2005). They are corrected here and this becomes the place of publication." -
Comment: Although Jones indicates that this publication was necessary to validate the name Myrmechila trapeziformis (Fitzg.) D.L.Jones & M.A.Clem., the species name had been validly published by D.L.Jones & M.A.Clements, Orchadian 15(1): 33–42 (2005). The second publication of the name is thus here treated as an isonym.
