APC Comment: An African species, recorded by A.D.Chapman, Austral. Pl. Name Index 2528 (1991) (on the basis that A.J.Ewart, Proc. Roy. Soc. Victoria ser. 2, 19(2): 43, 45 (1907) published the name Romulea cruciata var. australis Ewart), but not known to occur in Australia.
