  • Type: cultivated Canberra, 3 July 2013, ORG 6361, propagated from seed ex Madagascar: Tampolo (holo CANB).
  • Etymology: "Derived from the Latin facil-easy and orchis another genus of orchids, in reference to the proprietors of Easy Orchids, Murray and Jean Shergold who discovered this species during one of their many trips to Madagascar."
