The Australian Plant Name Index (APNI) is a tool for the botanical community that deals with plant names and their usage in the scientific literature, whether as a current name or synonym. APNI does not recommend any particular taxonomy or nomenclature. Text:"Mueller's concept is now included in Leptochloa decipiens. Bentham (Fl. Austral. 7: 617, 1878) included Eragrostis decipiens in his synonymy of L. chinensis, but his concept is no longer accepted and Leptochloa chinensis does not occur in Australia."
