  • Comment: IPNI: "Basionym cited as 'Distichostemon hispidulus var. phylloptera F.Muell.' This name is itself a new combination published by S.T.Reynolds based on Distichostemon phyllopterus F.Muell. This citation error is correctable under Art. 33.5 (ICBN 2006). However, the authors published a formal correction in Austral. Syst. Bot. 24(1): 59 (2011) but this was unnecessary and the date of valid publication of this name remains as 23 Dec 2010."
