Asteraceae Bercht. & J.Presl
Aphanorrhynchos Rchb. , nom. illeg., nom. superfl. scientific apni Reichenbach, H.G.L. (July 1841), Deutsche Botaniker...Erster Band. Das Herbarienbuch: 90 [tax. nov.]
  • Text: "Leptorrhynchus (Less. DeC.) insectum!"
  • Comment: nom. illeg., nom. superfl. Proposed as an unnecessary new name for Leptorhynchos Less. on the basis that it was preoccupied by that of an insect (possibly Leptorhynchus Boisduval (1835)). Reichenbach lists the name "Aphanorrhynchus 1. Aphanorrhynchus", but this autonym does not exist, in accordance with ICN Art. 27.2 (Melbourne Code) (2012).
