Australian Plant Name Index (APNI)
The Australian Plant Name Index (APNI) is a tool for the botanical community that deals with plant names and their usage in the scientific literature, whether as a current name or synonym. APNI does not recommend any particular taxonomy or nomenclature. APC Comment:A central Asian species, recorded by F.Mueller, Austral. J. Pharm. 10: 207 (1895) (as the type of Statice macphersonii), but type material may not represent a wild (naturalised) population (see G. & B.Keighery, Austral. Syst. Bot. Soc. Newsletter 144-145: 35 (2011)). Not known to occur in Australia.
