Text: "Eremophila aureivisca: this was said to be from ‘Latin auri- golden; visca covered with a glutinous exudate’ but the latter word is the plural of viscum, a mistletoe or bird-lime made from mistletoe berries (reference is to the resin on the stems and leaves). The first part of epithet is better derived from aurei-." -
Comment: As indicated by George, the taxon name does not match the etymology supplied by the original author but since it is nonetheless orthographically correct the original spelling is to be retained under ICN Art. 60.1 (Shenzhen Code, 2018).
