K.J.Evans et al., Aust. Syst. Bot. 20: 237 (2007) record Rubus laudatus for Qld, but plants in that state are referred to R. alumnus (A.R.Bean, pers. comm. 2007) by Qld botanists. It is unclear whether two taxa are involved or whether one of the names has been misapplied.
