  • Type: "Holotype: Western Australia: Lake King, 33°05"26'S 119°33"37'E, S.W.L. Jacobs 7030, 2.12.1993. Gypsaceous islands connected by causeway. Islands with samphires and Frankenia. (NSW 293105; duplicate PERTH).:
  • Etymology: "This species is named after Geoffrey Thomas Jacobs, son of SWLJ, who has helped on many field trips and was present when the Type was collected."
