The Australian Plant Name Index (APNI) is a tool for the botanical community that deals with plant names and their usage in the scientific literature, whether as a current name or synonym. APNI does not recommend any particular taxonomy or nomenclature. For a listing of currently accepted scientific names for the Australian vascular flora, please use the Australian Plant Census (APC) link above.

Comment: G.Paczkowska & A.R.Chapman, West. Austral. Fl: Descr. Cat. 335 (2000) list the name "Eremophila interstans (S.Moore) Diels subsp. interstans", but this autonym was not established until 2007 (see R.J.Chinnock, Eremophila and Allied Genera, 634). W.R.Barker et al., Census South Austral. Vasc. Pl. 5th edn, 129 (2005) list the name "Eremophila interstans (S.Moore) Diels var. interstans", but this autonym does not exist as there are no varietal names published under Eremophila interstans.
