The Australian Plant Name Index (APNI) is a tool for the botanical community that deals with plant names and their usage in the scientific literature, whether as a current name or synonym. APNI does not recommend any particular taxonomy or nomenclature. APC Comment:A reputed hybrid E. robusta x E. tereticornis subsp. tereticornis is the basis of E. kirtoniana F.Muell. (Pryor & Johnson, 1971; Chippendale, 1988). A reputed hybrid E. globulus subsp. pseudoglobulus x E. tereticornis subsp. tereticornis is the basis for E. paradoxa Maiden & Blakely (Pryor & Johnson, 1971; Chippendale, 1988).
