The Australian Plant Name Index (APNI) is a tool for the botanical community that deals with plant names and their usage in the scientific literature, whether as a current name or synonym. APNI does not recommend any particular taxonomy or nomenclature. APC Comment:Listed in synonymy of Conyza floribunda Kunth by W.M.Curtis, Stud. Fl. Tasmania 2: 315 (1963) and T.D.Stanley in T.D.Stanley & E.M.Ross, Fl. SE Queensland 2: 526 (1986). Conyza floribunda is now considered to have been misapplied to Conyza sumatrensis (Retz.) E.Walker in Australia.
