Vascular Plants
Australian Plant Name Index (APNI)
The Australian Plant Name Index (APNI) is a tool for the botanical community that deals with plant names and their usage in the scientific literature, whether as a current name or synonym. APNI does not recommend any particular taxonomy or nomenclature. For a listing of currently accepted scientific names for the Australian vascular flora, please use the Australian Plant Census (APC) link above.

Comment:The designation "Eucalyptus eudesmioides subsp. eudesmioides" is listed by Centre for Plant Biodiversity Research, EUCLID Edn 3 (2006). However, this autonym had not been established as no subspecific taxa had been published within Eucalyptus eudesmioides at the time (ICN Art. 26.3 (Shenzhen Code, 2018)).
APC Comment:Intergrades are recorded between E. gittinsii subsp. illucida and E. eudesmioides (Nicolle, 2000). Subspecies not recognised in this species by Nicolle (pers. comm.).
