"... Mr. ALLAN CUNNINGHAM, who found it in New Holland, on the sea-shore at the Illawana district, in lat. 34½°, whence living plants were imported to His Majesty's Gardens at Kew."
Since both the taxon name and Latin description are attributed to "Allan Cunningham " within an article by Hooker, authorship of the name is thus here accepted as ascribed (ICN Art. 46.2 (Shenzhen Code, 2018)).
