  • Comment: Reference to basionym and nomenclatural synonym indirect, via Kuntze's citation of this name as "Phyllorchis... clavigera [Fitzg.] (F.v.M.)" and his explanation on p. 676 that he had used parentheses enclosing author citations to indicate synonyms in Bulbophyllum and square brackets to indicate synonyms in other genera.
