  • Lectotype: "At Florence (FI)... the left hand specimen on the mixed sheet labelled "Herb. Webbianum. Ex Herb. Labillardière. Terra Diemen" (with no other details) is here selected as the lectotype of A. saligna.
  • Text: "... neither A. saligna nor A. ligulata occurs in Tasmania, it is apparent that the locality 'capite Van-Diemen' given in the original description ('Terra Diemen' on the lectotype) of A. saligna is an error. The correct locality should have been 'terra Van Leuwin', a name which Labillardiere used to refer to Esperance Bay..."
