The Australian Plant Name Index (APNI) is a tool for the botanical community that deals with plant names and their usage in the scientific literature, whether as a current name or synonym. APNI does not recommend any particular taxonomy or nomenclature. Text:"This taxon, from South Australia and Victoria, is a natural hybrid between D. pardina and D. behrii Schldl. A similar, but not identical, natural hybrid occurs in Tasmania originating between D. pardina and D. chryseopsis."
APC Comment:A hybrid taxon involving Diuris maculata and D. behrii or possibly D. maculata and D. lanceolata (fide D.L.Jones, Native Orchids Australia 238 (1988)) or D. pardina and D. behrii (fide Austral. Orchid Name Index).
