Type: "Beside Rocky River Road, 1.5 km NW of intersection with Murrungowar Road. Approximately 10 km NW of Cabbage Tree Creek, Victoria (37° 39'10"S, 148° 37'30" E), 19.vi.1987 [sic], M.H.Kottek 80 collected by P.Geary. (holo: MEL; iso: CANB, MELU, NSW)." [The collection date on the label of the CANB isotype is 14 Sept. 1987 and the specimen includes a signed note from M.H.Kottek confirming this date and indicating that the date cited in the protologue, 19 June 1987, was erroneous.
