Comment: Conn notes here that collections from northern NSW were incorrectly referred to P. melissifolia in Conn (1992) Flora of NSW 3: 655-656. They were subequently redetermined as P. caerulea.

Comment: Records of this species from East Gippsland almost certainly refer to Prostanthera incisa.
